Greater Columbus Sports Commission

Convention & Visitor Bureau

Ohio’s capital and the largest city in the state (14th in the U.S.), Columbus is home to more than 900,000 people, 60+ sports venues, 400 parks and several unique neighborhoods.

We’re a smart and welcoming city, growing at twice the rate of the U.S. since 2000. Our two major sports areas – Arena District and University District – are close to thousands of hotel rooms and hundreds of restaurants, bars and shops. Since 2002, Columbus has hosted more than 600 new events from all-star games and NCAA championships to youth and amateur tournaments.

Columbus is close to get to, and our sports venues are close to things to do. We collaborate across public and private to customize every sports event. Bring your event to Columbus, and we’ll show you how we play forward.
